Did you know there is an event in San Diego the Friday before Mother’s Day that moms can get together to shop, talk, mingle and have a drink for a good cause? Well there is such an event here in San Diego. For those moms who want to experience the ultimate mom’s night out (without their kids), Mamafest is the place to be. This fun- filled evening will be held at the New Children’s Museum in Downtown San Diego on Friday, May 7th from 6pm-9pm. This is the perfect weekend to grab your mom or friend and take them out for a night at the museum. This event will feature a marketplace, speaker panels, silent auction, cash bar, your very own swag bag and tons more. Proceeds will benefit The Postpartum Health Alliance. And I am giving away tickets: To win a pair of tickets to Mamafest, just comment below on anything about your mom or what being a mom means to you (3 winners will be picked at random on Monday, May 3rd ).

Being a mom is getting to see everything thru new eyes… There is nothing better than taking your little ones to Disneyland and experiencing the magic again for the first time!
True, I loved E’s reactions when we saw Cirque’s show Kooza. It was like being a kid again.
Being a mom has taught me to notice all things positive. Everything is new and bright for young minds. I agree with Liz about Disneyland, too. Took Miss N 2 weeks ago for the first time. It was the best trip I’ve ever taken there by a mile.
I wish my mom lived closer to me. She lives in the Midwest. I am grateful for what my mom has taught me, she inspires me everyday.
Thanks to my commenters- Liz, Jen and Suzanne…you all win a pair of passes to Mamafest on Friday Nt.!
