Thread Show is a one-day independent fashion/art show that appears a few times a year in San Diego (they also do shows in LA, OC, Seattle, San Francisco). Local independent designers will gather to sell their wares. The designers are usually on hand which makes it nice because I love hearing the stories of how they started and why they make or sell what they do. Many of these designers sell their goods at local boutiques but at Thread you can buy direct and save yourself some money. For me, it is a good way to find a unique piece of jewelry, purse or clothing. This time around Thread will have a gift wrapping station, because it is that time of the year again.

I would love this! I was a fashion major, sew, and love jewelry. My Stella & Dot Sister and I would LOVE this! My favorite clothes come out of White House Black Market but I browser and collect when i find great stuff. But BHWM is the go-to store with great quality and great prices.

Favorite designer that goes to THREAD is Miles to Go (http://milestogoclothing.com/). Makes his products based off of books, I’ve bought 5 shirts from him now I believe!
I’d love to go THREAD! Always heard about it, even saw it once when it was happening but never had the chance to attend. Even though it’s a bit typical, I will always love Anthropologie – it’s whimsy and flirty and every piece in the store (clothing or otherwise) has such personality to it.
